On 28th Oct 2021 Australia issued notice that an additional 24 Engineering occupations will be open to applicants currently residing offshore from Tuesday 2nd Nov 2021. Complete requirements for each engineering occupation will be displayed from 10 am, ACST, Tuesday 2nd Nov 2021 for South Australia's Skilled Occupation List.
Applicant must meet the Department of Home Affairs requirements, state-specific occupation requirements and have skills in an occupation available on Skilled Occupation List for South Australian state nomination. The applicant will need to meet a range of requirements before applying. Here are the listed requirements:
- Applicant must have at least eight years work experience in the nominated or closely related occupation.
- There should be at least 85 points of the applicant for the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) in the Department of Home Affairs points test.
State nomination requirements depend on the applicant who is applying for which visa pathway and under which category.
