What is the minimum CRS Score for Ontario?

A minimum of 400 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is required in IRCC's Express Entry system. You must also meet the criteria of Ontario's Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Ontario PNP requirements:

• Education - Applicants must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree from Canada or have an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report indicating that their foreign education meets these requirements

• Language Proficiency - All candidates must have a language competency level of at least 7 on a standardized language test recognized by the Government of Ontario, regardless of whether the language is English or French.

• Work Experience - In the five years prior to the date of the Ontario Notification of Interest, all candidates must have worked full-time in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) level 0, A, or B occupation for at least 12 months. This criterion can be met with an equal number of part-time paid job experiences (1560 hours). Instead of five years, applicants must have at least 12 months of cumulative full-time employment (or the equivalent number of hours of part-time experience) within the last three years.

Express Entry score - All applicants must have a score of 400 points or higher on the Canada Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System, and this score must be maintained throughout provincial and federal processing.

• Intention to Live in Ontario - All Ontario immigration applicants must plan to live in the province.

• Settlement Funds - All PNP Ontario candidates must have adequate unencumbered funds to pay the costs of coming to the province and settling in. Bank statements must be used to prove these funds.

Ontario PNP process:

These are the following steps:

Step 1: Research the various immigration programs' eligibility requirements.

Step 2: Determine which immigration path is best for you.

Step 3: Fill out an EOI (Expression of Interest) form and send it to the OINP (Or)

Step 4: You can apply to the program directly.

If you submit an EOI, you must:

Step 1: Your application is submitted to a pool of candidates.

Step 2: Your profile will be evaluated by the Ontario PNP.

Step 3: The ITA receives the highest-ranking scores via email.

Step 4: You have 90 days to submit the full online application.

Step 5: Submit the necessary paperwork.

Step 6: Candidates must meet with the OINP for an in-person interview.

Step 7: The immigrants must sign the Performance Agreement after that.

Step 8: The Ontario government will then issue a Letter of Confirmation.

Step 9: Once you've sent this letter to the IRCC, you'll be issued a temporary work permit.

Step 10: If you meet all of the requirements, you can submit an application for a provincial nomination.
